What to expect on your first appointment ?
After booking your cardiology appointment online or by phone, you will receive an automated confirmation email with your appointment details. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and any required pre-assessment procedures, such as observations or an ECG if indicated. When it is time for your appointment, a member of our reception team will escort you to the consultation room to meet the cardiologist.
Following your cardiology consultation, a detailed clinic letter outlining the assessment, investigations, and management plan will be prepared and securely shared with you and your registered GP. Any prescriptions issued will be processed in accordance with agreed arrangements. If further investigations or referral to another specialist service is required, we will ensure the appropriate documentation is sent promptly to facilitate timely and coordinated ongoing care.

After your consultation, a summary report will be sent to your email and shared with your registered GP. Any prescriptions will be sent directly to your chosen pharmacy, and if a referral to a specialist is required, we will ensure the referral letter is sent promptly to the appropriate provider, keeping your care seamless and coordinated.
