What to expect on your first appointment ?
After booking your appointment online or by phone, you’ll receive an automated email confirming the date and time of your child’s consultation. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and any necessary paperwork. When it’s time for the appointment, a member of our reception team will guide you and your child to the consultation room to meet the child psychiatrist.
Following your child’s consultation, a detailed clinical summary will be prepared and, with appropriate consent, shared securely with you and your child’s registered GP. If medication is prescribed, prescriptions will be issued in line with agreed arrangements. Should onward referral to another specialist or service be recommended, we will prepare and send the referral documentation promptly to support continuity and coordinated care.

After booking online or via phone, you’ll receive an automated email confirming your appointment. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early so our staff can seat you and notify the GP of your arrival. When it’s time, our reception team will escort you to the consultation room for your appointment
After your consultation, a summary report will be sent to your email and shared with your registered GP. Any prescriptions will be sent directly to your chosen pharmacy, and if a referral to a specialist is required, we will ensure the referral letter is sent promptly to the appropriate provider, keeping your care seamless and coordinated.
