Service Description
Prompt assessment and treatment for non-emergency injuries, wounds, and minor medical procedures. Our private urgent care service provides rapid evaluation and treatment for a range of minor injuries and procedural needs, helping patients access timely care without long emergency department waits. Experienced clinicians assess the injury, provide appropriate treatment, and arrange onward referral or imaging where necessary. What’s Included • Clinical assessment of minor injuries and wounds • Wound cleaning, dressing, and infection management • Minor procedural treatment including suturing where appropriate • Advice on pain management and recovery • Referral for imaging or specialist care if required • Clear aftercare and follow-up guidance Suitable For • Minor head, back, or eye injuries • Cuts, lacerations, and wound infections • Minor burns and scalds • Insect and animal bites • Dressing changes and wound care • Suturing of suitable wounds Most treatments can be completed during the same appointment, with rapid access to further investigations or follow-up care where clinically indicated.








Cancellation Policy
1. Appointment Booking Appointments with Red Rose Healthcare are confirmed upon receipt of booking confirmation via email, SMS, or telephone. By booking an appointment, patients agree to this Cancellation Policy. 2. Cancellation Notice Requirements We require a minimum of: • 24 hours’ notice for standard GP consultations (in-clinic or virtual) • 48 hours’ notice for extended appointments (e.g., health assessments, procedures, occupational medicals) Notice must be provided during business hours via: • Telephone: 0161 537 9215 • Email: info@redrosehealthcare.co.uk Cancellations sent outside business hours will be deemed received on the next working day. 3. Late Cancellations Appointments cancelled with less than the required notice period will incur a late cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation fee. 4. Non-Attendance (Did Not Attend – DNA) Failure to attend a booked appointment without prior notice will result in: • 100% of the consultation fee being charged This applies to in-person and remote (video/telephone) consultations. 5. Deposits Where a deposit is taken: • Deposits are refundable only if cancellation occurs within the required notice period. • Deposits will be retained for late cancellations or non-attendance. 6. Exceptional Circumstances We understand that unforeseen emergencies may arise. Requests for fee waivers due to exceptional circumstances will be considered at the discretion of the Practice Director. 7. Practice Cancellations In the rare event that Red Rose Healthcare needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, patients will be offered: • An alternative appointment at the earliest convenience, or • A full refund of any pre-paid fees 8. Policy Review This policy is reviewed periodically and may be updated in line with operational or regulatory requirements.
